Construction law principles & shipbuilding contracts
The recent decision of the High Court in Adyard Abu Dhabi v SD Marine Services is of interest to marine legal practitioners in various respects, not least because the trial judge, Mr Justice Hamblen, considered mainstream English constuction law principles in the context of a shipbuilding contract dispute. This is unusual.
