Navigating the changing offshore environment
In assessing, the fallout from the April 2010 Macondo disaster in the US Gulf of Mexico, which witnessed the loss of 11 lives, the sinking of the Deepwater Horizon drilling rig and the largest offshore oil spill in US history, it could be said that the three main priorities for policy makers are: regulation, regulation, regulation.
