Passenger ferry construction dispute in Singapore

We are currently acting for a large European ship owner in relation to its claims arising from termination of a shipbuilding contract for a ro-ro passenger ferry following significant delays in construction.  We have assisted the owner in the successful recovery of its pre-delivery instalments plus interest totalling over €70 million and are pursuing claims for damages arising from such termination. 

The shipyard has disputed the owners’ right of termination and is pursuing its own claim for damages.
